Want a top notch birding trip from a New Zealand port - check out the options below and email us at info@wrybill-tours.com to reserve your place now. As well as being BIRDERS, we really know our marine wildlife and take pride in providing a full service trip, from whales, and dolphins, to sharks and other fish. We have maintained a record of seabirds seen on all pelagic trips to date, and as part of this all sightings are entered into a database. We also submit reports on all unusual/rare birds seen to the Ornithological Society of New Zealand Rare Birds Committee for verification. See the list of birds reported by us to date, with outcomes of those records here. Phone/Facimile: + 64 6 323 1441 |

| 15 December 2010 | FULL day pelagic out of Owenga, out to and cruising past the Star Keys, South East (Rangatira), Pyramid, Mangere & Little Mangere Islands as well as chumming at various locations along the way. Don't miss out on this pelagic which is rarely available. We expect to see Northern Royal, Chatham, and Pacific (Buller's) albatross, Southern and Northern giant petrel, common diving petrel, sooty shearwater, hopefully fulmar and broad-billed prion, white-faced and possibly grey-backed storm-petrel, brown skua, and will be patrolling the islands for shore plover, Forbe's parakeet, and black robin. | NZ$500 per person |
| 17 December 2010 | HALF-DAY pelagic, weather dependent, but hopefully heading again down off the south-west coast to spend time in the late afternoon looking for Pterodroma petrels. Anything is possible, but Chatham petrel and of course Taiko are our highly unlikely 'target' species. |
